Canacona

Canacona, also known locally as Kankon (Kāṇkŏṇ), is a town and a municipal council in the Kushavati district of Goa, India. It is one of the four talukas of Kushavati district. Chaudi is the headquarters of the Canacona taluka. The taluka includes areas such as Patnem, Poinguinim, Loliem-Polem, Agonda, Gaondongrem, Cola, Cotigao, Shristhal and Palolem.
