Bregenz ist die Landeshauptstadt des Bundeslandes Vorarlberg und Bezirkshauptstadt des Bezirks Bregenz. Die Stadt hat den bedeutendsten österreichischen Bodenseehafen, ist Eisenbahnknotenpunkt sowie Sport- und Kulturzentrum und ist die drittgrößte Stadt Vorarlbergs.

Bregenz is the capital of Vorarlberg, the westernmost state of Austria.
