Venta Rapid is a waterfall on the Venta River in Kuldīga, western Latvia. It is the widest waterfall in Europe at 249 metres (817 ft) across, and becomes as wide as 275 metres (902 ft) during spring floods. The height of the falls varies from 1.80 to 2.20 metres depending on the level of water in the river. (Wikipedia)
