Das im Kölner Westen liegende Viertel Ehrenfeld gehört seit 1888 zu Köln. Das Stadtbild wird heute von Bürgerhäusern aus der Gründerzeit, Industriedenkmälern, Kriegsbaulücken füllenden Mietshäusern aus den 1950er und 1960er Jahren sowie vom Wohnturm des Herkules-Hochhauses aus den 1970ern geprägt.

Ehrenfeld is a borough (Stadtbezirk) of the City of Cologne in Germany. It includes the seven quarters Bickendorf, Bocklemünd, Mengenich, Ehrenfeld, Neuehrenfeld, Ossendorf and Vogelsang. It has about 109,500 inhabitants and covers an area of 23.98 square kilometres.
