Prinknash Abbey
Historic and Protected Site
Prinknash Abbey, a monastic community of men, who live in the spirit of the Rule of Saint Benedict, written about the year 500 AD. The community began in the Anglican Church, but converted to the Catholic Church, while living on Caldey Island, near Tenby, Wales, on 5th March 1913.

Prinknash Abbey is a Roman Catholic monastery in the Vale of Gloucester in the Diocese of Clifton, near the village of Cranham, Gloucestershire. It belongs to the English Province of the Subiaco Cassinese Congregation, which is itself part of the worldwide Benedictine Confederation.
